S.O.W. The Seeds Of Wisdom Foundation Inc.​

The SOW Foundations primary goal is to connect “at risk” and “underprivileged” individuals with the people, companies, and positive situations to help them develop self-esteem and economic self-sufficiency. SOW the Seeds Of Wisdom Foundation’s fund raising goal for 2012-2015 is $5,000.000. This money will go to the down payment/purchase of SOW Brooklyn Arts Center and kickstart our programs/ conferences.  We are looking at new and innovative ways to achieve our fund raising goals. Online fund raising using social networks like Facebook.com Youtube.com and Twitter.com, coupled with Internet based fundraising companies like Fundly.com and Kickstarter.com will significantly enhance our efforts for achieving our goals for 2012-2015. The vision is to recruit supporters online to help us raise money and reward them with “top-notch” goods and services donated to the SOW Foundation Inc. 

The SOW Foundation is a knowledge-sharing platform, a place where collaboration is the glue that binds people together. 

​​​SOW events/programs like the ​​​​​“SOW Conference on Cultivating New Ideas”, “SOW Brooklyn Arts Festival”, TheBiz 2.0​​​​, ​Bed-Stuy creative collective, and DigiForce digital Film making  & Journalism Initiative were designed to achieve our goals. 

Other live events like “SOW Underground”, the “OURSTORY Filmmakers Showcase” and our “Klubbhouse” fundraisers give our supporters and participants an opportunity to connect and benefit from that interaction in a unique, productive and entertaining way. ​

The Brooklyn Arts Center will serve as an ideological as well as a physical platform on which to launch our initiatives.  Our time is limited to put together the board, donors & investors. This is doable!!  ​

The main goal is to establish “The SOW Brooklyn Arts Center” regardless of the obstacles.​​​
We want to develop our Partnerships Program into a place for corporations and the SOW FOUNDATION community to collaborate in a human-centered way. To share in our mission of fostering and spreading innovative ideas that might change the world and help uplift at risk and underprivileged individuals.
We also plan to aggressively take advantage of the numerous public and private grants that are still available in these troubled economic times.​
